The 2016 International Horn Symposium will take place on campus on Ithaca College this year. The event will take place June 13-18 on the Ithaca, NY campus. The conference is packed to the gills with the usual competitions, masterclasses, and performances. Here's a sample of the featured musicians:

There's a number of things we're looking forward to on the docket. For one, don't miss Jeff Nelson's fearless performance. This alone should be "required reading." Also, look for a presentation from James Boldin on solo literature and etudes. Boldin is a great performer, but an even more insightful teacher on this topic.
