This week on Film Score Friday we listen to the score from Silverado. Bruce Broughton wrote the score for this 1985 western. It's a strange thing to see western from the 80s. This was a period when westerns had fallen out of favor. Broughton manages to capture the spirit of classic western scores while making it his own. If you're familiar with Broughton's work, this will feel familiar. At times, there's resemblance of Copland as well. Enjoy and happy trails.
